Camps And Classes
Camps Register!
Whenever school is out, you will find us running camps at both our locations. Camps are full day, 9am to 3pm and are a great way to immerse your young person in the thrill of woodworking! In the morning kids learn to use our tools to build projects of their choosing. After a lunch break kids can continue with carpentry or one of our many art/STEAM activities including outside time.
Camps are scheduled around the Seattle Public Schools Calendar and are offered during all days off.

Workshop Classes Register!
Classes in our workshops run once a week for 90 minutes from September to June. Kids work at their own pace, choosing between over 100 different projects.
Sign up on a monthly basis and cancel anytime, make up for classes you miss. Choose a workshop to see when classes are offered.
Enrichment Programs Register!
Kids’ Carpentry classes are a hands-on toy building experience designed to teach kids, ages 5-10, practical woodworking skills with an emphasis on the safe use of hand tools. Each week one of our amazing teachers will bring all the tools, supplies, and 20+ woodworking projects for kids to choose from. Some on-site storage is necessary. Contact us about adding classes to your enrichment schedule.

Private Lessons Contact Us!
We teach private lessons at our Columbia City Workshop for kids aged 5 and up with any level of experience. We can do a single lesson or a series; all lessons include general carpentry and safety techniques and will focus on any subject or project you can think of. Private Lessons include individualized instruction, all the behind-the-scenes preparation for your project, and most of the tools and materials. Contact us to get started.
Homeschools Register!
Homeschool classes are available during the day at our Workshops or your group’s meeting location.
Classes are designed to teach a wide variety of skills and concepts for kids ages 5-13. Student carpenters gain quality experiences in measuring, applied math, problem-solving and craftsmanship, and as a result are empowered by the hands-on experience. Classes are 90 minutes and run for 6 or more weeks. For the safety of everyone, classes are small with a maximum enrollment of 8 kids.
